A total of 30 graduate credits (400 or above) is required for the degree Master of Science in Computer Science, with a minimum of 18 of these credits at the 500 level. A list of 400 level courses that can be used for graduate credit can be found here. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 must be earned for course work taken as a graduate student.

Students who believe that they have completed a course substantially
similar to one of the specific course requirements may apply to have
their previous work evaluated for the purpose of exemption to that
requirement. A maximum of nine (9) transfer credits will be allowed
for coursework completed as a graduate student at another institution.
